New here so go easy.

I have a 2012 Fiorino with a double din "upgraded" stereo that i want to remove and replace with the standard head unit.

I have sourced a second hand unit from eBay and also the tray that sits above the head unit.

I think the wiring has been butchered to fit the double din head unit so does anyone know where i can source a new stereo harness? Direct from fiat maybe?

I think i also need a new code for the stereo as the one i have purchased does not come with the matching code. I assume the code from the car paperwork will not work?

Also can anyone tell me how the stereo is fitted? Is it screwed in or just fitted with clips and tabs? I don't want to break any of the trim so any pointers would be helpful.

Many thanks

it may be tricky to say how new is fitted, but OEM single DIN is on clips, you need special tool to remove it ( or you can do this tool yourself from thick wire )

codes can be purchased on ebay

I threw my old radio harness to the bin few weeks ago :( and I done the same with this tray which sits above :bang:

( btw you can also buy clipboard instead of tray )

I managed to swap back to the original stereo from parts sourced from eBay. It was pretty easy as all the original wiring was still in place.

I used the double din stereo cage and just cut it down so that it would hold the original stereo in place securely.

I managed to get a code sorted too.

Very happy now.
