Afternoon Everyone,

I have a 2011 Fiorino, Its lacking power in the low gears and the EML is on and when this happens the engine goes into limp mode....

Im in desperate need of help ?????

This has been in the garage with the correct diagnostic equipment, its had a full service, injectors, glow plugs, new airflow sensor, the egr has been out and cleaned and it STILL has the same issue. When is plugged in on the dyno and running everything fires at the correct time I am told.

Im all out of money and options.... anybody have any ideas?

symptoms are- poor running at low revs and then it will put the car into limp mode

I reply on the car for work and have no other option for transport..... i'm really stuck here and am down to my last pennies

What is the code or codes that causes the eml light to come on?
Surely the garage read the fault codes before replacing all the parts replaced?
Must have cost a fortune.

Your post reads like the garage returns the vehicle to you with the eml light still on and the fault still present, is that correct?

they still have the car, and the diagnostic equipment was throwing up codes for the above also, he then cleared the codes and took it for a drive and the same thing happens again, limp mode and poor running

Its a 2011, I believe the fault codes were for injectors, glow plugs and maf sensor, all of which have been changed.

The car runs well when its in high gears and at high revs and doesnt go into limp mode, this only happens in low revs in gears 1-3

It was a recent purchase, it ran well for a week and then this happened. There was no service history with the car so I don't have an idea of previous work done. It was a mistake on my part to buy a car so blindly, however, when I test drove it there were no signs of this problem.

Its had fuel filter, air filter, new oil, oil filter, glow plugs, 4 new injectors (fml), maf sensor & egr cleaned out

please let me know if there's any more specific information I can get from the mechanic that might help, appreciate any and all help

Cheers

DO make sure they have reset all of the DPF ond Oil settings in the ECU

LOTS of garages mess this up..

Get the actual fault CODES from them.. again this could tell a tale..

You might just have a random electrical problem..

But go through the common issues 1st :)

Plenty of people use diagnostic kit that doesnt work well with the Marelli and Bosch kit on the diesels.. or the mix of kit on many modern Italian cars

So you might get misleading CODE descriptions.. thats why knowing the actual CODE is very helpful

Similarly..
If they dont have the knowledge or kit to reset certain service parameters the diesel engine can be damaged..

What kind of garage are you using?

Any specific brand loyalty..??
