Hello All, common question, apologies... I have the van version, first symptom, only blower working on 4, that has failed now too. I removed and cleaned the motor and jumped battery tested and worked fine. Removed resistor and tested, faulty. Father had a spare resistor from a Corsa which multimeter tested looks ok (i assume its the aircon version and looks the same as the removed one). There was no signs of melted wires anywhere. I have connected the Corsa resistor and the motor and turned the matrix controls and nothing. Tested the wires and appears to be no power. There is power coming to the control panel (it lights up) but I know there are the equivalent 5 prong connector on the back for the motor.

Is there a relay for the heater control power in the loop with the 5pin connector coming in the back (checked fuses ok) or is it something else?

There is NO info on the Relay numbers in the engine bay

I assume the next step would be to test if power is coming in the back of the control power (looks a big job tho because of the heater control cables)

TIA

Footnote: I bought a OEDB plug and left it permanently installed, I see it is on the same fuse circuit as the AirCon Control, could this have done something? Fault happened after I installed the module.

Noticed no fuse installed in F08 (air con compressor) in engine bay...

Still not fixed this after servicing the blower motor, new resistor, tested all fuses so thinking it is the blower controls themselves... What will break in the dial to cause the malfunction? TIA

no power to the motor, so I suspect the dials. I need to remove the controls but it is one of those jobs! I would remove and check power going in the rear of controls.

all the wires at the resistor end are clean, not melted, not power going to the resistor end.
