Hi Folks
need some guidance please,
my bipper/florino
the keys was water damaged b4 i purchased van i bought it knowing this .
the immobiliser light is on the old key was removed from system by car keys man but told the sellor that he couldnt speak to bsi , and suspected needed a soft reboot but he tried this and still no luck
i have done several soft re boots , even leaving battery off for 2 days to ensure no residual power left in bsi
still going through pp2000 bsi has no dialogue and fault showing no transponder showing or incorrect.
i have tried finding out if the bsi is a separate unit to ecu or a built in one, also where it is located .looking on peugeout sites they same it doesnt have bsi its a fiat system, if it didnt have bsi why does my software say no dialogue ?
as the bipper is a florino copy i am pinching any advice a can take off yourselves. if cant sort it will have to send off bsi or ecu for repair please please give me guidance.
many thanks in advance..
Ray

Hi Folks
Swapped out bsi ,ecu and clocks and immobilser ring but still can speak to ecu with pp2000, multiscanecu or even launchx431 master any advise could it be a relay if so which one please please a bit of guidance

Hi :)

Thats been a bit of a challenge hasnt it

What has the state of the contacts of all these parts been.. corrosion wise..

If damp long enough.. it could be almost any point in the loom

Did you have success with any OBD kit.. or just no communication..?
contacts seem all fine . i even when swapped out ecu to clean up earth connection.
just wondering do you think it could be fuse related , as the immobilser light off now but.
still no comms when connected all diag tools pp2000 just skipped past bsi and ecu saying no dialogue. is there fuse i should be looking at ???
i thought doing full ecu kit would resolve issue,

i looked at fuses all day today even relays t06 location relay looked like it had water ingress a bit of marking around relay terminals, swapped relay with another, another soft reset and still no luck.
Then i tried swapping out my original bsi ecu kit just to see if any wires were damaged etc still nothing but original immobiliser issue was still lit. i noticed in the forum somewhere that they said the immobiliser antenna ring were all interchangeable. this is incorrect and when i didnt swap this over when i replaced my new ecu kit it never recognised key , but as soon as i swapped antenna over recognised key but still nothing about starting or ecu or bsi being able to talk. i was even thinking of changing fusebox but have seen before that this still never resolved someone elses issues they had. please some guidance needed. up to my tether on this at moment.

swapped all fuses and relays still nothing but i cant find anywhere a fuse and relay list what can they do , also trying to see if there is a starter relay to see if there is an issue with starter dont think so as still cant speak to bsi or ecu. does any one have any ideas

update.....
found out the starter solenoid was fecked, trying to see any breaks in wire, replaced starter , van started up great...still unable to speak to ecu at moment but can by fiat multiscan but as ive changed ecu kit , couldnt get vin number so couldnt go no further, now trying pp2000 just got updated version to see if that helps, also had change egr as egr warning light was on took it apart and it was solid , a pain in ass to get off got replacement egr off flebay, but i am going to blank it off as well just got to try and get ecu paired up with vin numbers
