car parts 4 less have them for sale for £42 with the added discount this weekend
normally they are £54

A drop in MPG and a little sluggish are tell tail signs apparently
Mine is giving me a dash warning CHECK ENGINE it is defo the EGR valve that's the problem
The guys did clean it out as it was almost blocked with black soot etc so it maybe just the solenoid that's had it but i have ordered the complete unit
Its a bit of a pain to change as its tucked under the manifold at the back of the engine and you need eye's on the ends of your fingers!

EGR Valve turned up today and is being fitted next Tuesday
Another new shiny bit to add
So far engine has been great starts on the button lovely and smooth and the Guys who refurbed it have done a great job...Doesn't even sound like a diesel!

EGR valve fitted and thats another sparkly new component fitted!
What a difference that valve has made loads more power and silky smooth engine...Really happy with how this has all turned out
Cone filter is next on the cards i just have to make an adaptor to fit to the maff

Im thinking of giving mine a good clean, and if it's really clogged up I may buy a new one. Did you notice more power at higher revs as that's where mine feels like it lacks power a bit and I'm wondering if it's the EGR causing it.
