Hello everyone.

I have a 2009 Fiorino 1.3 MJT. To be precise a combi with a footwell and rear seats which i have removed.
I would like to change my passenger seat to a folding seat (that one that folds completely flat).

If i got this right, the folding seat option was added to later models.
As far as i know the chassis has not changed,so its possible to install a used folding seat and remove the one i have now.
I know the folding seat is not comfortable but i am not going to be having passengers.
I am looking to gain the ability to lay down fully in my Fiorino.

Now,i have looked online but have not found any of such seats. There is hardly any pictures or info about them.

Do i have to remove the seat metal base too,or only the top part?
Is it difficult to unscrew, will i need special tools?
Does the Nemo and Bipper had the folding seat as an option?
Should i be looking into those models too? That would make it a lot of models to search for including the Qubo.
What price should be reasonable for a good condition used seat?

And what other options i have?
Can i get some swiveling mechanism,if i could turn around the seat,i could make do perhaps? Or do i need a specific seat for that?
Can i find a cheaper aftermarket folding seat, that is aimed at camper vans perhaps?
I have even thought of removing it completely, but that will create a gap lower than the floor, plus i would not be able to have a passenger too.

Thank you.

Mine has the fold down seat. I think the base and seat are one unit so you can’t just change the top. I also believe there is no passenger airbag on models with the fold down seat because if you have a load coming through and resting on the dash you obviously don’t want an airbag firing off in an emergency.

if your not going to have passengers just remove the seat you have and make a flat bed floor level with the back...Done
