I've had problems with the drivers window switch before now and had it replaced, so when it stopped working I just thought it was the switch again because the passenger side was fine so didn't think it'd be a fuse, when the new switch came I fitted it but it didn't work, so I went to the fuse box to find there's actually a fuse for each window. I have checked both of the fuses and both are fine. The drivers double switch isn't working for either windows. I don't have a clue what to check next.

I think it's a bayonet type fitting if I remember when I had trouble with the door speaker not working

I had a friend of mine look at the wiring where it comes into the door and he found two wires that had broke in half, he rewired them and "hey presto". Was a nightmare when we had all that sun and I only had a passenger window. It drove me mad. Anyway thanks for the info pal ??
