Hi all , well my heater motor or resistor went today !
Checked all the other threads and went through both fuse boxes , was told it was fuse 83 under the bonnet , I dont even have a fuse in that slot !
Just pulled the panels off inside expecting to find the motor right in front of me , stupid me eh !
So my question is ........what is involved in getting the motor out to check it over , where is the thing , I saw the heat exchanger in a big white plastic box but thats about it !
Any help or guidance/links to removal threads greatly appreciated :bang:

That would make sense , i was looking too low !
I did look at the glove box but went no further as it looked like rain was coming in , I will pull it off the morrow and see whats behind it !
Cheers matey :slayer:

All sorted now !
It was not the resistor pack im affraid , no continuity on the motor and it didnt even go with a clean up and straight 12 volt direct .
Managed to get one for £66 all in from ECP so not all bad .
Cheers for the pointers !

Hi

13 plate Trekkng Qubo

My heater fan would not work this morning at any speed. It worked two days ago it has been wet! Previously the fan decided not to work previously (6 to 12 months ago).

I don't use the fan much at all as I am mostly on motorways at a steady 60mph and like to preserve the resistor pack.

Relay T08 (my guess as to the blower relay) in the electric box beside the battery looked a little corroded but is is the same relay as many others and I swapped another relay into T08 with no success.

I have looked through my hand book I can't see which fuse or fuses protect the blower fan!

It can't be over use I really am sparing with the fan, nothing or 4. I wonder if it isn't lack of use but as I say it worked two days ago and it had a wobble some months ago!

So which fuses which relay...... I hate electics.

Hi All.

It is a big thank you to a1ant who suggested checking the connector to the fan motor is in the passenger foot well and is easily dislodged all the way back on the 15/07/2013. I had a snooze in the Qubo the other day and put a coat in the bottom of the foot well to keep my feet warm as soon as I read the old post the light bulb went on me, big feet!!

Thanks again a1ant I think you have saved me a few £'s.

Regards TJ
