Thanks to the bankers and general economic climate means I have lost my job with the NHS. Thankfully I have managed to secure a new job starting in January. However instead of an 11 mile daily commute I have a 100 mile round trip to endure. That means my beloved HGT has to go to finance a cheap boring diesel. I have it for sale on Pistonheads:-

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2477060.htm

I would rather it go to an enthusiast however I cannot go much lower in price due to tight finances otherwise I will sadly have to drive it into the ground. So please no silly offers as it's a good car all round.

Kind regards,

Simon

mint looking example, and ridiculously low miles! good luck with the sale im sure someone will have years of fun with an example as good as that.

i would snap that up in an instant if i hadn't spent so much on my 1.8 already.

Thanks mate - spread the word!!! I've got to say it's been my most surprising car to date and great fun. But she deserves better than to commute that sort of distance every day.

Wow! Someone bought a factory fit cd player off the extras list. I think it was a £120 extra..... Very low millage considering you use it everyday.

Thinking of waiting till spring to sell mine, I fear big engined cars will become harder and harder to sell.....

Saying that, if you own one it will be a rare car!

Good luck!

FAIRWELL TO FIATBOO AND ALL THOSE I HAVE MET OVER THE LAST 4& A HALF YEARS.
MY MAREA IS BEING PART EX TOWARDS MY NEW MOTOR

Wasn't fussed about the leather when I bought the car - tried other ones with leather but this one came out head & shoulders over them on more important things i.e. Condition, performance, history etc. As for the price - depends whether you want a car for £1350 with no major issues or a cheaper one that you'll end up paying more. Thought is was a fair price for a genuine car.

but has said before, the price in cars ,especially hgt's are dropping.

they may be dropping in price, but in my opinion low mileage is worth much more than average prices. but still he can always drop the price or accept a offer if nothing comes along.

I paid 1350 or so for my 1.8 4 or 5 years ago with 38k on the clock, and would pay not much less for another with the same mileage now. Its just a case of waiting for the right buyer to come along for this car, and trust me eventually someone will take this.

bravos are always going to have a strange charm, you either love them or hate them. I know a few lads who have had bravo's, and they all say they would go back to one if a minter came along.

Cheers Jords, nice to have a friend in the camp!!! Don't forget to spread the word!!!

have to say, thats a nice example and if i was in teh market for a HGT then you would be getting a handful of pound notes, not that bothereed by leather either (even though i have it, think i prefer the cloth) but a car is worth what someone is willing to pay for it, i was just offered a 52 plate vw caddy van tdi as a swap for my wagon, but i was not interested and th caddy is worth alot more in cash value.

cheers

C'mon chaps - there must be someone out there in the club who knows a mate after a decent Mk2 155 HGT? I'll take £1000 cash with no haggling - otherwise it's not worth getting rid of it to be honest......

another boo memberhas 1 with 54k miles (i think ) wants rid of his standard 155 @ £800,he cant get rid.Seems no one is interested in bravo's now.well tbh no one sets eyes on them to know their poential.

Fiat Bravo Mk2 HGT 155 20v For Sale

Happy New Year to you all. Only had a few bites over Christmas holidays - no viewings. Looks like I'll be remaining as a Bravo owner as will not drop under £1000. But hey they're not bad cars...just a little expensive for fuel if commuting long distances. I'll give it another 2 weeks.....
