Couldnt find my old original post but anyway, managed to get my car down to a mates garage this afternoon to find why its still clunking on the left after a droplink change..Ended up spotting the problem straight away once car was up in the air. The anti roll bar was touching the droplink nut, hence the bang/clash. The otherside was well apart,so a simple pri and move of the arb to the centre has solved the problem But he thinks the bushes could be worn hence the movement of the arb.
Drove it home and was fine but wether it moves again is the question :/

had the same on mine.

the ARB is very difficult to remove so rather than buying new bushes arb etc...
I decided to get some bushes from a ford, cut them to size with a knife, cut a slot in them and fit them around the arb in the correct place :)

this was much easier than removing the whole arm like fiat want you to

the bloody thing has moved again! argh lol
its started knocking tonight BUT only from the left still.

i think im just gona get arb bushes and new arms both sides for the sake of it,get it all done same time! Ive fitted new droplinks, first thing i did.

Mine might be dirrefent but it didn't have 'arms' my ARB was one solid bit of metal going from left to right beding around the back end of the engine.

To get it out would have involved raising the engine out of the way, that's why I just made some bushes for it as fiat sell it, ARB with bushes pre-attached, a right pain in the arse :)
