When inserting a driveshaft into the gearbox with a tripod joint do you hit it in until it clips in or just insert it. I didnt want to force it in earlier but when i put it in it falls out quite easily. The manual only says to insert it in but in the past with other type of driveshafts they have always clipped in. Thanks

As above just insert it seal it with the gater and plenty of grease and when you have finished assembling the strut into the back of the CV Joint (which is cliped in) the whole shaft will be held firmly in place.
