changed the thermostat and gone through the bleeding process but nothing coming through the top bleed valve(the one on the long stalk) any ideas ???

this is getting confusing keep to the same thread and dont keep starting another on the same subject

anyway if you have the engine running and the bleed valve open what happens??? as water should eventually come out.
it might not come out if engine is not running as water is not being pumped round

other than this as you have changed the thermostat and no difference i would say the heater matrix sounds blocked??

the whole system takes about 6ltrs of fluid so how much have you put in??

Engine at running temp? Try reving engine when bleed screw open. only other thing is you have a blockage or the water pump is gone but i suppose if that was the case you would overheat.You have the heater controls on? On your earlier thread you say you had the matrix out. Have you connected the heater valve cable correctly Maybe the cable has slipped on the heater control

as previously said by sven the heater matrix doesnt have a valve its hot all the time

i did find a leak in the matrix sorted that out all working fine for now thanks for your info

how did you sort out the leak in the matrix that could be whats blocked it up if you have used something like radweld??
might be worth looking in your local scrappy for a replacement one or your local motor factors.
rather than repair it

yes all working at the moment and there was a rubber seal missing from on of the pipes so sorted that out
