Morning all,

Could someone help me, I have a small leak in the radiator and was looking at putting some on that radiator seal you can put in BUT it tells me to put it in the radiator and I havent a clue were I can do that. Wasnt sure if you put it in the cooliant holder, but on back says in radiator.

Also this is just a quick fix and does anyone know were I can get a cheap NEW one from, its a 1.8 HLX 1998

Cheers in advance

Steven

Scrappy for a radiator, otherwise could be very expensive.. yes you would need to follow instructions on RADWELD bottle but pour into the coolant expansion tank this will workits way through the rad hopefully sealing it up...

Recommend to drain the coolant out first, refill with fresh water bleeding the system and then use RADWELD as directed.

Cheers Karl,

Might sound a stupid question but not got radweld got something called carlube, radiator sealer I take it thats the same stuff just different make

just poor it where you put your antifreeze, it contains metal particals mate, and fills the hole if its not too big,

in all honesty mate id just get a new rad,

Effectively the same thing there quite a few different brands but all do the same thing, hopefully its just a crack and it'll seal it.
