I want to disable the passanger airbag so that i can put a child seat in, can I just unplug it or will that upset other things?

Also anyone know if the bravo is isofix compatable? It's a 2001 so i'm guessing not?

no isofix - although there were reports it was going to be produced to enable drivers with non isofix cars to have it retro fitted....

I think for legal reason isofix didn't proceed as who would take liability if it were to fail!

If you unplug it, it may put the dash airbag light on.... don't know if Fiat can disable it from the ECU.

I'm not much help really am I, sorry.

The bravo has a presence sensor in the passenger seat to turn it on or off. No switch to turn it off. If you could find that wire to the presence sensor and put a switch on it then you'd be able to turn it on or off manually. Disconnecting the passenger airbag from the ecu will work but you may or may not trigger the airbag light. You could just put the child seat in the back.

yeah child in the back seat is the obvious, was just trying to get out of lifting with it being a 3 door ;)

Wonder how much weight the sensor needs? Will look for the wire, thanks!
