please can anyone tell me how to reset the service light on my fiat bravo fiat are wanting £40 to do it

I had this same problem on a 2005 fiat stilo.
Tried loads of garages who had the proper diagnostic CPUs but they couldnt do it.
In the end a lad i know did it with his laptop, cost ma £5.
