Hi guys

My son has given up with the standard head unit and wants to install a DVD unit he has been given, however it does not have a standard iso connection but bare wires.

Most of these I have no problems connecting up however there is a pink remote wire that I have no idea where it goes, unless it is only used when you have a separate amp.

Any ideas?

Actually there is a white wire as well which isn't on the iso.

Can be lot of things, cant say for sure I need the model and manufacturer, then if I find any diagrams I can help.

Thanks Sven - asked the same question on a car audio/electrics forum and was told the pink wire is for an amp connection and the white isn't needed.

Wasn't to sure myself but wired it up without these ones connected and it works fine .

Would have responded sooner but have been away for the weekend.
