Chaps, I have noticed recently that web I boot it I get quite strong fumes in the car, what could it be, could it be a exhuast problem? Or something else?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Like Oz said - what kind of smell
But check the hoses under the bonnet and if your exhaust has a hole on the flex pipe.

Dunno really, smells like petrol, or exhuats never had this before, if there was a hole in the flexi wouldn't there be a blow? Because I can't here one.

could be something spilt on the exhaust thats burning off

or an exhaust manifold leak... so collecting under the bonnet and then coming into the cabin.


try the tissue test!!... hold a tissue round the manifold and if it twitches.. you have a leak!!
