Guest | Re: Radio not switching on... havent got a tape to try on but the grundig cd changer is connecter, the chnager itself is operarting however on the radio itself you cannot select the changer etc..there is no operation on the radio checked the fuses..all seem to be ok..i assume the radio fuse wil be titled 'services'? need to buy official fiat fuses as i have half fiat and the other half universal ones.

Guest | Re: Radio not switching on... cheers Sven, ill prob replace them trouble is the orignal fuses the bravo came with are of a very good quality recently any motor factors sell a cheap version. the fuses are numbered and not soldered correctly onto the casing, leaving the blade intact lol i shall also reattempt the feeler gauge tool, as it was struggling to fit yesterday

Guest | Re: Radio not switching on... Hi Sven fuses seem in place looking at http://www.fiatboo.co.uk/run-a-bravo.htm#part8 i dont think it may be the same for all bravos but the rest of the areas in he car seem to be functioning well the radio display light coems on, when you press the power button but that its not wording is shown, you can switch off the radio and the display light turns off i took out the stereo and all connectors which had cables were all in, there is a yellow connector which doesnt have wires..but im only using the standard grunding changer not an aftermarlket system so i assume its meant to be an empty connector any more ideas?

Guest | Re: Radio not switching on... cheers OZ however odd behaviour at times on the radio would freeze, meaning no matter how many button pressing does not work.. i can switch it on..and when i switch it off..itll take sometiems 2 minutes to register the OFF button What i can understand these maybe issue with the radio side as in aerial etc BUT my cd changer is external expept attached with a lead cable, why is the CD changer acting the same as the radio>? Does it look liek the stereos gone/ As mentioned i have taken it out and sprayed alot of contact cleaner but to no avail
