A very simple job indeed. Only thing to watch out for is not to drop the top bolt,(screws into a captive nut). You will never get it out . When replacing this I used a telescopic magnet, It's strong enough to start the bolt into the thread

I dropped a 15 inch socket into that captive hole, is there no way at all to get it out? obviously without cutting your car into bits

I never tried it but the telescopic magnet might reach it. the magnet needs to be on something solid or it will just stick to the side

iece of ****, just done it. I didnt need to worry about losing the nut, there is a plastic round thing covinging the holes, all i did was undo the bottom one so there was no pressure undo the bottom one and then hold the shock up while taking the nut off with a socket (greece in the socket) and it came out woo hoo, 26 quid instead of 90!!

Cheers everyone
