Those sidelights dont look totally legal to me ;) still looks good though, you need like 20mm spacing now! gonna space my marea when i get round to it ...

Downside is, you'll ruin the steering geometry.

Yeah, i know, but get the tracking looked at by a garage and you should be ok?

Tracking wont do anything. It'll still mess up the geometry. You'll need to fit an adjustable camber kit.

Personally change the wheels with the correct ET and it'll look fine.

The front looks impressive now. Not sure about the holes around the number plate, is that common on the Marea?

I wanna keep my standard marea wheels though :( will look into it more when i get lowering kit and spacers (poss)

If you do lower it and fit spacers, i suggest you perhaps invest in some of these...

..these will help even tyre wear.

Looking good there bud, glad to see it's gone on ok!

I still have a set of OMP 10mm spacers that did the trick when I had the HGT wings on mine. Still don't know quite why I thought paying £90 was a wise decision!

Can't say I noticed anything about uneven tyre wear or tracking issues. Might just have been the fact that it wasn't that large a spacer, who knows, not I! ;)

Keval -
Spacer1.jpg

that's a spacer and that'll be how they go on

Will - they're 10mm a side so 20mm overall

I've been inspired by that front end, it looks awesome!!!
So, is this possible?
... I've got an 'R' reg HGT and it's dead, but, I've also got a 1.6 SX on a 'W' reg, i've been told its possible to do a HGT front end conversion, but, i was worried about the difference in age, will it still fit?
do i need to change the bonnet as well?
also the HGT has front fog lamps but the SX doesn't, can I use the relay and switches from the HGT on the SX, will all the plugs match up?
cheers in advanced

James
