Hiya Guys, ive been offered a lovely white marea weekend 155. Ive been trying to find a good replacement for my brava and my 7 seater volvo 850, and a 7 seat marea would be perfect.
Did this ever come as an option on the marea? so if i brought this one i could fit them later. Thanks for any info.

Nope, this was never an option on the Marea. The only recent FIAT's I know of that can accomodate more tha 5 are the Multipla (6) and Ulysee (8).

Cheers Rob, I thought that maybe the case and those models are both dog ugly. At least a marea would still have looked good. I guess its a Zafira Gsi or Espace Rxe for me then.

a neighbour of mine had a marea weekend 7 seater.
he removed collapsable rear facing seats from an old volvo estate. bolted them to the boot floor, and fabricated some seat belts. he sold it 2 years ago , but it always passed mots.

The Mk.1 with the bug eyed lights was the best. A daring design and amazingly practical too

The Ulysse is not bad, especially the Mk.2, but it's a generic MPV really and inherently dull.

I can't imagine a 7 seat conversion in a Marea Weekend would be particularly comfortable, even if it is kids, and I'd question the safety too, as the rear panels probably won't be as well protected for side impacts as the rest of the car.

However, the Zafira GSi is supposed to be a belter, and then of course, there's a VXR model too

Personally, if I wanted a 7 seater, and money wasn't an issue, I'd be going for a Mercedes E Class estate. But if I wanted power, the Audi RS6 would have to be the one

After seeing the test that I think it was Fifth Gear did on a car with seats in what is technically the boot, I would think twice about buying a car that required me to put the children in the boot space...If you're rear ended, then they are the crumple zone... It wasn't pretty, and that was only with dummies!!!!

The Zafira is my number 1 choice now, i could get an espace easier as there more common in jersey, but not as much fun. Do you guys reckon i should put the brava mostly back to standard before selling, only things i cant change back are uprated brakes, suspension and 17" tsw alloys. And sell clear repeaters, k&n, magnex,m3 mirrors on ebay?
