I didn't realise Fiat would release a 2.0 version. This could be one to go for in the near future if an abarth version isn't released. Its more economical than the 1.9 and has a 0-60 of 8.2 secs which is on par with a 2.0HGT. A remap and a few mods probably will see the 165BHP to 200BHP.

Anyway its on sale now and heres a small write up...

Let's hope they also put it in the G. Punto soon - before GM gets hold of it and starts putting it in their manky Astras...

TD's are becoming quicker than petrol nowadays.Around my area in blackpool there is a 252 bhp skoda td!

It would be good if it went in the GP, it would make it a cheaper car to drive and run than the Bravo as the GP tax bracket is higher.

alfa 147 abarth m jet jtd 170bhp is the one to go for.

Anon, I have the 170bhp 1.9jtdm in my gt cloverleaf. It's quite good and re-mapping will see you 190-200bhp.

I know nothing about the 2.0 version but if it's as good as the 1.9 it'll be a corker.
