I can't recommend them more than enough, they are UK based and have excellent customer service. High quality kits at a low price. No chinese cheapies from Ebay here. Thats an excellent price, especially with a 2yr warranty.

My Fiat Bravo JTD HLX with Abarth Kit is For Sale!

I have now installed these on my dipped beam.
Absolutely no modifications needed with the poly headlights. Everything tested and fitted within an hour.
Initially I thought they might just look smart from the outside but the improved visibility is astonishing. If you thought standard Bravo/a headlights to polys was a step up this will really surprise you.

If you can afford this mod - grab it with both hands.
:)

i have been thinking of this conversion for a while,..many thanks for the post marko.
could you tell me which exact kit you bought.

cheers big al

i have been told these are illegal and wont pass the mot unless you have headlamp washers?

Well can't comment on legal side but my Brava went thru its MOT fine with my 6000K HIDs. No washer jets or self levelling lights (which I think is the requirement) installed.

Rascal - that sounds more like advice than law. The installation manual describes a similar thing: "make sure the headlights are kept clean by stopping regularly or using headlamp washers".
I imagine its to do with the glare from a dirty lens - much the same as having a dirty windscreen, inside and out.

re

tbh my mate bough a kit off ebay fro hong kon for 47 quid delivered because he bought in dollars off ebay.com

it was h7 kit for his ibiza but i cant imagine it that different for h1?

and it was a brilliant kit, he didnt have to cut a single wire had oem plugs on it etc.

Allan, most if not all of todays aftermarket kits don't require you cutting a single wire, they have spade connectors that connect to the +ve and -ve within the headlight.

Regarding the legality of HIDs they are 100% illegal if they are fitted to a headlight that was designed to take halogen bulbs. Polys with HIDs are illegal. Autolevelling and headlight washers are only for cars fitted with HIDs as standard, not aftermarket.

I have had HIDs for 3 or more years now and never had any problems with the Police or the MOT people.

just wondering does anyone have pics of their hids and what kits they have. Maybe from inside and outside the car. Thinking of getting a kit but want to see what experiences other people have had!

I can get them for a tad over £30 but i wouldn't recommend them.
