Hi all

On my headunit i have a lead to fit a usb memory stick, i was wondering if it was possible to run this lead behind the dash and into the glove box to hide the memory stick and so i wouldnt need to take my headunit out each time i wanted to update it?

Thanks Yogi

You can get USB extension leads from any computer store - that would do it.

my fault didnt word the question good, what the question was is, is it easy to take the dash out in order to run the lead down into the glove box or is there a simpler way of doing it

the answer is yes. you can do it. i have my ipod connected to my head unit and the ipod is kept out of sight in the glove box. it is abit tight but easy to do. and there should be a screw at the back of the glove box that has a long hole, just un screw that put the cable through and then put the screw back in and it should be fine.no need to be making new holes for it

life is to short to look back

its really easy to get behind the glove box. you dont actually need to take the whole thing out. however, that said, its only held in with a few allen screws iirc, so you shouldn't struggle. I wouldn't go taking the whole dash out though...

when i wired my screen into the stereo slot, i took out the glove box and put my hand all the way up behind the centre dash.
