Setting the timing

Hi

Just to make sure i'm buying the correct item, can somebody please confirm whether this tool will set the timing of the car (bravo 1.6sx)after the correct position has already been lost? - cambelt snap doh

yes.. they will set the correct timing for the camshafts,im not sure if the bottom end has a notch on the pully/timing casing.
i bought the exact same locking tools for my 1.8 from shop4parts as the timing was about 12 teeth out,and they are well worth buying if you dont have any marks on the top pullys.
plus use the boo member discount and get them cheaper..lol

Yeah the Crank has marks on it to located TDC. Its just the 2 cams up top. No marks.... WHAT WERE FIAT THINKING?!?! ARRR

I have been looking at your problem with the timing tool. How did you know where to position the camshaft before using the locking tool???
I have lost the timing nd there are no marksof any kind to help.

I didnt end up going down this route...

Since the belt snapped on me i decided to not waste me time.. i just got a new engine.
