you could however put in the 2.4 JTD out the diesel marea, you'd have to widen the front end and stuff but would be interesting.

interesting is a car that tracks alot wider at the fron than at the back... taken to an extreme and the effect you've got is a reliant running about backwards all the time... You'd be better with a 2.4 20v JTDmjet engine from the new alfas. A standard remap will see almost 250bhp, or with a couple of grand thrown at it (and lets be honest, if you are going to spend a few grand on the donor engine etc you might as well spend a couple more) you could bag yourself a 300bhp JTDm engined motor.
