Hello All

Im a little stuck with repalcing the front section of the exhaust on my car

Brava 1.2 sx80 16 Valve

The section which is knackered is the piece from the manifold to about the middle of the car (the piece which has a bit of flex in it)

Anyway i can easily see the manifold joint, 2 bolts and jobs a goodin, But the rear joint is whats bugging me.

There are no bolts to undo or clips to loosen so how is it joined together.

It cant be as easy as just sliding the 2 bits together can it?? Are they sealed with a bit of Gum Gum etc.

As much help as you kind people can provide because my car is sounding like a dragster more and more each day.

The joint will be where it meets the cat.

DO NOT EVER use exhaust compound on pipes before the cat, any stray bits (and there always is) will get stuck in the cat and its not best for performance/MPG.
