O/T- lookin for a usb storage device/card

just thinkin about gettin a usb storage device/card mainly to back up my mp3 list on my pc as it reached 700/800 songs so far and the size is sayin around 3.03 GB, so i`m askin what size usb storage device i`m gonna need as my 128mb isnt gonna do obiviously, i`m already usin that to back up my pics
any ideas would be welcome

you can get the usb hard drives the external ones. they could be handy to have.

yer get an external hard drive! they can be big but u can get smaller ones!160Gb is the one ive got, can back ur whole computer up with that!

Yeah, external hard drives are the way to go, you can get a huge amount of storage for hardly any money. I've got a 250GB one and I have to put everything on it because the 40GB laptop HDD isn't even enough to hold just my music.

Maplin aint usually too bad for these. Picked up a 320GB external drive for £70.

as above, also i got a 8gb flash drive for 34quid from misco, but we get discount through work and free delivery which woudl otherwise bump it up a tenner or so even on small things i think

The computer is use is my family one and at the moment it really needs a format, so I bought myself an external so I could have have my own memory without having to faff about moving it in the future whenever someone can be bothered to format it.

I only use it for pics, music, music vids and college work to be honest, so I think 500gb will last me a few years lol.
