I'd ask for royalties if I were you. That's really not on.

i`m with Oz on this one, i`d write to em to ask for royalties OR, write to em askin to remove it or you`ll take leagal action (and you can do this as its your pic, not theirs) as they never asked in the first place,

I'd be happy if they used my car as an example, they obviously think it's good.

wether its a good example or not, you still shouldnt do it without the owners consent. Personally i'd take them to the cleaners.

Definatly out of order,they have been selling for wile going by the number feedback,so they know exactly that what they are doing is wrong, and in an advertising sense proberbly (ILEGAL) dont qoute me on that though.

But if Rimmel London had shwon a pic of kate Moss in red lipstick without paying her, im sure they could be sued in a court of law.

And just because its not on the same scale i dont think its any diffrent.

hmmm mr Anonymous i dont think thats right, the picture belongs to the taker no matter what!! dont you remeber a few years ago when a postage stamp was produced for the royal family and the taker promtley sued as she was never asked if it could be used..

My bonnet lifter guide was copied without permission and for a while my car appeared on various motoring sites advertising the lifters.

Some people want to take the easy route in life and if that is by plagurism then there's little you can effectively do about it without sufficient precautions beforehand.

Accept it as a lesson learnt.
