As above a mate of mine has got some on his bonnet n we cant get it off!

is there any chemicals or thinners i could use?

nail polish remover takes off superglue, but i have a nasty feeling it'll remove the laquer too. i'm not sure if there is anythign that will take it off without requiring a bonnet spray.

What about using very fine wet and dry paper and rubbing it down carefully?

Tell Your Mate not to Bother trying as Nothing works without taking the paint off as i have tried too just ended up buying a new dash after i got glue on it!

thats more or less what ive said to be honest.

but just wanted to see if there was anything else as he dont really want to be paying for a new resprayed bonnet over a lil dab of super glue like

It never ceases to amaze me how slack people can be with Superglue around their cars !

My sister woke up one morning and someone had squirted her new MGZR with superglue. They got it over the roof, totally covered the drivers side paintwork and glass, and the bonnet. She tried everything on it inclucing paint thinner (as she knew if was gonna need a respray) and it didnt work. In the end she put it through her insurance and has got it back last week looking good as new.

what about using some of that co2 stuff to freeze it then use somethign to tap it and see if it will crack off??? dont take my words for it but tis just a idea?

panel wipe takes it off mate but its more for the trade so it comes in big cans lol but if you go to a body shop and ask for a bottles worth they might oblige lol dont worry about the paint as it evaperates like petrol only quiker
