Does anyone know what's the model and model no. of the air-con compressor that is fitted into 1.8ELX Bravas? Also, is it the "rotary type" or the "piston type"?

Both compressors are rotary, as I know the non climate control models have:"Harrison V5" compressor and with climate control:"Nippodenso" one.

For the model no. I need your chassis number.

Normally, the air-con shop will ask us to replace a piston type re-cond air-con compressor. But the oil seal cannot withstand the pressure, hence will leak. It is best to use the same original rotary type air-con compressor. If you like, there is a good air-con shop at Sunway....good job and familiar with Fiats.

Hi there. Actually, I have my air-con sorted out recently. The mechanic told me about the compressor changed by a previous mechanic to the piston type. He also explained about this reconditioned compressors which are not as effective as originals. I am currently searching for the original rotary type that came with the car ie model no.
