ordered a valeo one from shop4parts for £80
it is being fitted tomorrow by a fiat specialist garage for £160 cash which is a bargain, hopefully no hidden problems(touch wood).

meanwhile my badgeless grill came, so i sprayed it and started meshing. found a huge piece of qualiy stainless steel mesh in the garage (dad is in the food machinery business)but was unsure of what clour to have it.

i decided to use black and silver cut them out shaped them etc (took bloody ages)and here are the outcomes.

i wanted black originally, but looking at the silver i they look good aswell, kinda in a predicament could alternate them weekly but would appreciate your inputs.

please vote black or silver + your opinions or questions etc.

Black, it'll be consistent with the rest of your car

Leave the old grille on and paint the badge black. Soz mate but that badgeless one looks cack imho.

Im not to keen on the badgles grill either,but if your sticking with it,i would go with the silver mesh as everything else on your car is black the siver will show well with the wheels.

To mutch black and you hardly notice any lines or shape,and it might look a little like the mad max iterceptor.

Just my opinion.

The silver looks surpisingly good (Im not usually a fan of silver mesh)

However I would still personally go for black mesh but that is just my taste.

The question is... which do you prefer - black or silver?

I don't like the badgeless fronts...one thing which has annoyed me about my one

if only i had tiem to do more stuff to mine..

firstly where did you get the badgeless grille from, i know it can b doen yourself bu the 3 hoels under the current badge put me off and will require me to take some time off to do the filling..

secondly silver mesh

cars are menat to stand out from the look of the front
with no badge it seems lifeless.
however with a silver mesh it seems it has a eyecatchign grille
a black meshed grille will just blend in and will be hard to notice, i plan to do silver mesh but leave the rest of the car black..
dont forget the calipers, red is the best colour.

what you shouldve done is temporarily put the grille on the car
and took pictures of both colours

will be easier to determien then

if your goign to just do that then black,

otherwise do whatever you do the rest of the bumper with, perosnally silver proabbly better. . i liek black mesh on lighter cars like the yellow on eabove, but all black like that is too much if you ask me!
