Just went out for a 3 and a half hour beer lunch...don't think my boss is too happy

Ah the days! Used to love doing that on a Friday when I was a civil servant many moons ago. 3hr lunch getting ratted in the pub. Makes the office feel very sureal. You also feel a hell of a lot worse when you eventually sit down at your desk.
Unfortunately I was outsourced to a private company. Drinking in work time is a sackable offence

for me too, but I leave in 2 weeks so I'm past caring

If they sack me early they're pretty much screwed lol. I need another drink!!

They'll need a couple of hours to prepare your P45 for you to collect on your way out!! Hehe

I wish it only took them a couple of hours, I don't want no emergency tax.

That's what I love about my job. My boss takes the whole team out for lunch and beer and picks up the tab too !

And our clients are the Ministry of Justice who all have humongous government expense accounts, so if they're in the same hotel, the bar can be pretty much taken care of It's good to know your taxes are spent so well LOL
