I posted a few days ago about a strange clicking noise which i taught was an engine mount (Was nearly gone anyway).
That didnt do anythin for it.
Its there all the time but I hear it very loud when i hold the clutch about half way so its barely biting as im slowing down.
Im thinking either Wheel bearing or Something in the gearbox.

New gearbox in it about 15000 miles ago and i have been babyin it since.
The bearings i think are original so theres 94000miles on them.

The thing is it sounds like the gearbox from the drivers seat bit my mate sugested it could be the bearing.

Opinions please.

Jack the front of the car up, hold top and bottom of the wheel, and move them about..

If there's any play, your bearings are shot.. if not, they are generally ok..

I'm thinking that if you are thinking gearbox/wheel bearing. It could be slight wear on cv joint but as said, try thr wheels for play.
