been thinking of lowering my car as theres not much more i can think i want to do apart from that.
is there such a thing as 'universal' springs?
someone i know is selling some from a 1.2sx and said they wouyld fit my 1.4 but im not sure....?

anyone know if clearance would be okay if i lowered 40mm with abarth bumper?

it should be ok. but you will be very close to the ground. it wouldn't be wouth it. and if you lower 40mm it is worth doin it with the whole kit (shocks and springs).

if i rember... the abbarth bumper hangs no lower then a standard bumper. so it should be fine. but rember you will loose some comfort in the ride. but 40mm wont be too harsh on the ride.

the drop height isnt really the tre factor in ride, its the spring rate and damper rates tha really do it

get cheap springs and it will be harsh, get say eibachs and it will be lovely. i have a full spax kit on my 1.2, shocks and springs, and although it only lowers it by 25mm the ride is very hard, you feel almost everything in the road, but thats the way i like it (especially now im used to it) i feel like i have a better understanding of what the car is doing and what the road is like
