Does anyone know of a decent cheap Camshaft kit for the above car. I have seen some on ebay for around 100.00 GBP's, but I'm not sure if they will be any good.

All the standard ones have the same profile, and warranty.
The kits i see on ebay include the followers, so for £100 delivered thats a bit of a bargain! check with them the part number and their manufacturer before you buy though.

Also, if your camshaft needs replaced, its almost certain to be because of a blocked 'Camshaft Oil Spray Pipe' so you will either need to thoroughly clean it, or replace with a new one while changing the camshaft. Apologies if you may already have known that, or if a garage is doing the work, the mechanic will probably have seen a few in over the years, so he'll know to do that anyway...
