Ok I have gone way off the idea of "just cause" as it has mixed reviews.

So what do people think of this. Any other game sugestions welcome too

For PS2 Format

Type of game that I am after:

Looking for something thats not a racing (car) game. I have always has them in the past so looking for something different. I was thinking of the lines of a shooting game or something like GTA.

scarface is supposed to be very good

Again I have heard good things and bad things about scarface.

Also, I think it is set after the film to which he died at the end so a bit confusing!

Res 4 is really good. Great fun! I had it for Gamecube, but would of thought it would be the same for ps2.

Prince of Persia is pretty good, if you haven't played that already?

I think someone has mentioned this but Shadow of the Colossus is great!

Shadow of Colossus is better than great, really showcases what the PS2 is capable of, best game of the system in my opinion.

Anyway, Resi 4 on the PS2 has some extras over the GC version...originally it was supposed to be GC exclusive but Capcom wanted greater volume of sales and released it on the PS2 year later

Another cool game is 'Warriors'. That was released by Rockstar Games and you could pick it up second hand for around a tenner. Defaintely worth a look!

ive just completed resi 4 and it was ace. it comes with a new third person view which lets you aim freely. also the game was so long compared to the other resi games. it also came with extras unlike the GC version. gameplay is excellent and worth the price coz i bought it from tesco for £13.95

I like RE1 & 2 but found the camera positions anoying.

You should have a look on Gamespot, you get reviews/screenshots/videos of pretty much every recent game, I use it all the time along with the reviews on Amazon.

The warriors is a kick ass game, especially if you have seen the film, that games in my top ten.

i got Canis Canem Edit today does not seem to bad for a rockstar offering does not live up to the hype though.

I bought the new Pro Evo last night, but haven't managed to go on it yet.

Anyone played it? Any good?

if its the one for the xbox then yea its top played it last week at the trafford center xbox had a stand promoting all the new games me and my mate were on it for ages. its a shame its only out for the xbox as im more of a playstation man
