a left hand one that is?

fiat are charging £120 and i cnt help thinking theyre taking the pizzle.

ive got less than 2wks to get one and try and fix it myself as i have an MOT in 2wks time.

ddnt think a scrappy would go to the trouble of removing one from a scrap bravo as the process seems long a fiddly.

how much should i expect to pay?(roughly)

What exactly are you after? A left hand stalk or a stalk for a left hand drive car? If its a LHD car then they are the same. A left hand stalk is not possible as it comes complete with the other stalk.

basically to cut a long story short.........

my mainbeam light signal on the dash doesnt work and nor do the main beam light themselves when i flash or push them on.ive checked fuses and bulbs which are all fine,which leads me to believe the stalk is the problem.

what confuses me tho is that the stalk works fine for every other function.am i right in assuming this is the problem???

as per usual things seem to go wrong when MOT time approaches.

Been having same probs with mine last few wks.
Decided to take the stalk off at last to have look, disconnected the h/light wiring, crimped them tighter,sprayed it with WD40,put it all back together,reconnected battery + fuse, stood well back and lit the fuse,[airbag] O.K. tried the flasher, 's**t, it still did'nt work.'thats it' M.O.T. not til Jan 07, it can wait,gave the fuses a last prod and put the cover on, gave the stalk a last wiggle and the bloody thing worked! loose connection, whatever! leave it alone!See how long it lasts.

Cant find the part on the parts cd, but prob sounds about right, considering other prices! What Bravo is it you have etc. Also do you have the technical skill to go to the scrappy and take it out yourself as thats what you have to do up here if you want it cheap!

Also is that £120 fitted?

its £120 supplied from FIAT. A main dealer would then take another hours labour at about £70! Robbing barstewards. Bet bet is to find any bravo,brava, or marea in a breakers, and buy it for about a tenner. And fit it yourself.
