looking at a set of 330cc injectors from a coupe turbo 20v would these go onto the hgt without have to alter the ecu or anything else for that matter

A up speed freak long time no speak.The best place to go is the coupe forum as the coupe fits both the turbo and none turbo engine so they will know if they are interchangeable.Request info when you post from will AKA kingpleb.Hes the daddy of all things technical...XXXX

You'd have to get the ECU remapped to take into account the larger injector.

Have you actually reached maximum on the current injectors or have you just heard somewhere that this will give more power?

no one seems to know anything on this forum. and no one seems to like modding!! its always the same thing 'dont bother' or 'wont work' at least when i was on the corsa forums people would try new things if they worked bonus!! if not back to the drawing board?!

take it this forum is full of oap's after better fuel consumption and lowering emissions! goin mad over 0-60 vids etc.. sound like robots to me!!

not everyone on here is into spending f*ck loads on their cars, just want a good reliable car, we dont have one million followers like the corsa / nova / saxo so alot of the stuff is untried and untested in many respects. by all means go for whatever mod you want to go for, all people do on here is voice their opinions and try to assist in whatever way, be it constructive criticism or and good old fashion hell yeah go n do that!

a friend and myself are currently looking to throttle bodie a 1242 16v lump.. admittedly for his cinq, but if it all goes well ill be looking to do the same myself, but there isnt a huge following or knowledge on this matter so its trial and error. we have both done a fiar amount of research on the matter to get as much info and responses be it good bad or indifferent so that we can see the pitfalls etc

sorry of my response seems a bit sh*tty, but ive had one hell of a day and its only getting better. meet the guys at meets etc and you see a different group of lads and so on...

Sure, the Corsa Barry's do whatever they like to their sad excuses for cars. Look how many f*cked up Corsa's you see that look and perform like complete sheds, all in different colour body parts, Lex"arse" lights, LED Washer jets, any piece of chrome accessory that Ripspeed sell, baked bean cans for exhausts and all held together by Airfix glue !

If you want to do something "radical", just f*ckin' do it ! But if you come on a forum and ask an opinion, don't throw a little hissy fit if someone gives you good advice against you doing it. If you're so "visionary", just do it and screw us !

Maybe we are a bit more mature here, but that's not just in physical age, it's in mentality too (well, give or take one or two !). We don't follow the crowd like little sheep in their Corsa's and Saxo's. We have a bit more discerning taste, thank you very much

I'm sure quad TBs have been done on a chinq, I just can't remember where. As I always say with multiple TB conversions, do it after you've sorted the rest of the engine.

I'll be putting injected TBs on my mini eventually, it will run quad carbs to start with.

Why do you want bigger injectors?

It's a ***** compensation thing !! LOL

bigger injectors not too bothered just saw a set on ebay and i thought if they went straight on and get a bit more throtle response (cant spell) could be a cheap mod,

so to sum up they will go on if i map the ECU cheers tom also no not reached maxium bhp

No point in bigger injectors unless you are about to max out the one you have. Don't waste your money.

so because there are alot of belters out there that stick beans exhaust on and chrome jets etc we all do??? get off my high horse? how bigs yours?! telling me to grow up when as soon as you hear/see a corsa you all start stampin an shoutin!

ive seen some crazy **** done by some really random people but of course none of it would ever match your stuff by the sounds of it.

seems like everyone on this forum has travelled the world 3times and done everything known to man. fact is prob middle aged with the kiddies in the back, misses in the front goin for picknicks everyweekend.

i cant help it if im a sucessful young tradesman good at my job earnin a killin and doin stuff you prob all wanted to do but couldnt! im entitled to an opinion just as much as you are and if i want to spend silly money doin watever i will! what i dont want is people moanin at me for doing it, you guys sound worse than my dad!
