I had my car smacked in the car park....luckily we caught it on cctv so i got the details and i've started the claim procedure and i'm letting my insurer deal with it.
I'm taking my car to Just car clinic and i'm thinking of getting the whole car re-sprayed after the repair work has been done...what would be a good price for a re-spray if i went with the same colour and if i changed colour what price would i expect for the job (assuming they need to do inside the doors and stuff......with regards to the damage i'm obviously claiming against him for it.

Dont quote me on this but a respray the same colour of your car will be around the £500 - £700 region. If you wanted it in a different colour completely and done proper i think its around £1500 - £2000.

bloody hell!....sod that then, i'll let it rust. it's only gotta last me another year and a half.
I've got a season ticket that takes more priority i'm afraid!

speak to the bodyshop who are repairing your car. Tell them you will pay cash towards a full respray if they will charge part to the insurance. The idea being you pay less, and they get a cash bung in the pocket. Your insurance ends up paying for most of your respray, but hey would have been paying it anyway for the spraying of the new parts/repairs if you see what i mean?

insurance fraud? not at all. just blurring the lines a little ;) It wont cost the insurers more. And you'll be making up the shortfall.
