Just got back from quick fit today after having my tracking done the front was out by +10 :s they guys got me straigt on and had it all sorted in 15 mins for the measly sum of 20 english pounds, so i'm a very happy man at the moment and can reccomend Kwik Fit Brownhills to anyone

They normally get you straight on as they hardly get much trade due to bad reputations. :) Also you paid £10 more than what my garage charges.

Yeah but you live up in the North Joske where things are cheaper. That aint a bad price Lozz cheaper than a set of new tyres!

i always question their equipment, i got a free check in doncaster kwikfit and my tracking was 3mm out, didn't have it touched and went to s****horpe kwikfit for a free check and they told me it was bang on.

re

things like that always depend on the operator i think,

you can only really recommend branchs not kwik fit in general!

a friend of mine had two front tyre fitted by a company and they recommended he had his tracking done.
they called him over to look at the measurements and they hadn't located one of the pegs on the wheel rim.

it could have been a mistake ;)

you paid over the odds and if your tracking was 10 degrees out ur car would instantly snap left or right if you let your hands off the steering!

Anything With Tits or Wheels Will Cost You MONEY!!

It was +10, it was +6 on the o/s and +4 on the n/s on the laser tracking system, and it did used to pull when i accelerated. Also it was the only place that had a ramp low enough to get the car on, and was the cheapest place by me

my garage has 2 wooden beams they drive my car onto so they can raise it, lol. charges £10 for tracking, and i go twice a year (or when i remember) He almost always moves it a notch, but no idea how much.
He doesnt do 4wheel laser alignment, but the other garage i've been to does, and they charge £25 for that. i haven't had it done though.

As for kwi-fit:
a guy i work with asked me if my wheels are weighted the first time he saw the car. i said what do you mean (thinking he meant were they lightweight, because they are), and he said meant the little lead that are stuck on. he told me he use to do it all the time when he worked in kwik-fit, but didn't know why or what it did for the wheels. need i say more about kwik-fit????
