Ordered one from shop4parts last week. Just tried to fit it as per instructions in haynes manual, but I can't find any of the "clips" it mentions to secure it!

It didn't have one already fitted, does this mean I have to try and source some kind of mounting bracket too?

I'm beginning to think I've bought something that no-one else will have bothered fitting before lol......

Fitting a cabin/pollen filter..

The pollen filter on my HGT is held in place by a rubber band if I remember rightly

mines the 1.2SX Brava, according to haynes there should be some clips, can't see them anywhere though..........

let me know how u get on i want a pollen filter as hayfever gets me bad.

yeah thats why I'm doing this, don't fancy trying to drive with streaming eyes this year!

Anyone got any ideas? Haynes manual did say their actual test car didn't have one fitted, so I don't think it's standard on all cars. Question is can I fit it now? Found an acorn leaf in the rotor of the fan unit, so at least this'll stop trees from attacking the inside of my car

Problem is a) My filter isnt a bosch one, its a "Micronair" one.
b) Can't relate to the diagrams, internally car doesn't look like that!

I'm guessing there should be kind of a plastic frame to locate the filter in, and clips either side to secure it. All I have is the hole over the fan, and 2 screws sticking up either side.

Microair is the same filter, but goes under the Fiat OEM parts - all procedure should be the same

Filter is physically the same as the Bosch one.

mine sits in a rectangular plastic tray which you don't appear to have.... possibly y it doesn't seem to go in

Lumpymonkey - Your car isn't equipped with a pollen filter hence why you dont have the plastic tray with a rubber band over it.

Any idea where I could get that plastic part number 3, or should I give up and donate the filter to someone?
