2 of my HLX alloys are starting to flake. can i fix this myself or have to get it to a wheel restorer?

you don't happen to use that foam cleaner on them do you?
I made that mistake with my aftermarket ones.
Paint began to bubble and flake. Only then did I read the can which said DO NOT use on paint finishes (cos the foam is highly acidic and eats paint!)

no never used that stuff, just a spounge and some good old elbow grease :O)
