stil listen to the ipod wthrough the speakers in my car

cant really be bothered with ice or the mcd36, no into chnagers, just more hassle.

also though listen to the radio sometimes
a dab will prob be a good investment..

i have a blaupunkt dab54 with a window aerial. Loads of stations but its a bit like sky, you spend all your time flicking!

Reception depends a lot on the area your in and the ens your listening to. I find the BBC one is actually really poo! I drive a lot on the M18 and the BBC reception is always dropping along there where others are fine!

If your getting a radio then get one with DAB, but i wouldn't buy a radio for DAB.

The blaupunkt DAB54 is a nice head unit, you can get optional cables for ipods, disk changers, bluetooth hands free, amplifiers etc if you want them, it can also read MP3's from CD or SD media. The only thing i don't like is the clipping mechanism that hold the face on, my old panasonic unit had a really solid feel to it and you could easily get the face on, i always feel like i'm going to break this when i'm taking it on and off!

I have the JVC DAB radio, it lives on Planet Rock.

but how is the wiring the same??
also the aerial will need to be changed i suppose?
