has anyone got a spare drivers side plastic door handle with the lock hole laying bout. i have a rear handle for the passenger side but need one with the lock hole for the drivers side. or could be persuaded with another rear handle but would prefer one with lock incase rcl fails.

If RCL fails climb in through the boot. Delock the doors. I have and never had a prob if i did i'd go through the boot.

The RCL opens and closes the lock mechanism within the door. Nothing to do with the key. They moves a rod which will then pop open the doors. No harm at all.

I have done it on both my Bravos and never had one prob. Also my cars have been HLXs both with Alarms and RCL as standard.

k den well ill do that then looks much beta and is safer so no bastard can break in like they already tried. ive got an aftermarket alarm with r/cl so if it fails rear entry it will have to be.

what if you have a rear smooth boot, lol and the rcl doesnt work

then u r really screwed didnt think of that u would have to break in through a window lol. neva mind i probs wont bother with the smooth boot though. so theres no worries for me there.

Just don't park the boot too close to a wall
