Lumpy Idling

The JTD seems to be idling a bit high at the moment , she's sitting at about 1200rpm at idle where usually she used to sit at about 800-900rpm, also when i put the brake on it holds the revs high, but when i release the brake the revs return to normal, anyon know whats going on, also the temp meter is sitting a little higher than normal its only one notch above center but it never usually goes higher than the middle notch any help would be great

When you press the brake it could be bringing the revs up to increase the servo vacuum. Saves you from having to press the pedal too hard

does that mean there could be a problem with the servo if its having to increase the vacume pressure?

what do you recon could be the cause of the idle problem? icv?

You putting your foot on the brake.

Diesels don't have ICVs.
