Nice... ;) now get UltraMon (http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/) it's only $40 and makes having twin monitors much, MUCH better. Having different wallpapers, seperate start bars, maximise to just the screen it's on, or span screens, move from one screen to the other... how Windows should support multiple monitors.

With Windows and the best drivers you can do about 10% of what UtraMon can do. ;) Even using something like a Matrox dual head and the PowerDesk software it pales in comparison.

lol... 250Gb WD external drive.

look it was just showing u i had 2 monitors now.. i don't care about 2 start bars or anything else but the ability to drag web pages all over the place while i do uni work.

thanx for the advice tho :)

wouldn't it be better to have 1 BIG WIDE display (ie stretch one wallpaper over both screens) rather than 2 of the same?????

You can Buzz.. just at that moment i hadn't played with it.. just pluged it in, took a pic and posted it.

You have ur normal screen and the other 1 u can just drag stuff across to it.. or watch a film on it while doing work etc...

Ash has the same but his 2nd screen is a 48" plasma! Show off!! :)

Had my tower behind my sofa for a while in the lounge. PC looks great on a 42" plasma and the optical out from the sound card drives the 5.1 through a massive ROTEL amp. The only issue I had with it was I like to leave my PC on and it was really noisy when watching films and stuff :(

Couldnt justify the cost to kit it out with quiet fans, psu etc.

Dual screens look sweet Tommy. I remember when I first had them on my matrox card years back :)
