I believe that the pro is just faster at transfering data Sven, abit like the difference between usb & usb2. I might stand corrected as im no expert on this subject.

the pro is faster and larger capacity. the only thing that tripped me up is older devices will not read memory stick pro. My camera would read it but my card reader would not.

Thanks, I will get the DSC H1 soon so I have wondered if there is any differences. So a pro is in order

the bumf will tell you if your device will accept a pro but if its new i guess it will.
