A red light on my dashboard keeps coming on and off as I drive -tends to fade in and out- no particular pattern - the light is right beside that for the headlights and the handbrake.

Any idea what this is???

If it looks like a circle whit broken lines on the left or right of the circle - then your brake pads are worn out
