hello everybody, got here safely. bought me a car yesterday. can't afford a european car, far too expensive. i bought a Ford Telstar 1.8 auto station wagon (estate).
only paid 4k pounds sterling. it's FULLY kitted. nowhere near as fast as my old Brava.

it took about 11.5 hours from Heathrow to LAX. only a 2 hour stop over for refuelling, and then a 12 hour flight from LAX to Auckland.
a 2.5 hour wait until the last 1 hour flight to Wellington.
we're all knackered. only to be done if you want to get there 'quickly' with no stop overs.

maybe even in little bits and build it yourself.

i've seen 2 brava's and only one plum coloured bravo.
of the Italian marques, Alfa are more popular. i've seen 3 Alfa 147 GTA's already. they cost new NZ$77000. the most popular size engines are the 2.0 selespeed's.
not too many 156's though.
even though the Stilo's on sale, i've not seen one registered. mk1 Punto's are popular.
i nearly bought a mk1 Brava, but it was a 1996 in white, and they wanted NZ$3000 for it. that works out about 1200 pounds sterling. it looked tired, so i walked away.
i havn't got a digi camera, so i can't send you any photo's of Wellington.
